Lo, these many years ago, there was some grumbling about the half cent sales tax that was being levied to pay for Charlotte’s light rail. Much drama ensued and there was a ballot measure in place to strike it down. Well, we weren’t about to let our dreams of being the coolest hipsters on public transportation die. Being the lazy activists we were, my team and I created some election-themed posters to show our support using our favorite modus operandi: sarcasm. Of course, we never actually got around to printing them out or putting them around town. But that’s neither here nor there.
